Sony Xperia Z3 Compact images appear ahead of announcement

With just over 24 hours to go for Sony’s IFA press event, alleged images of Xperia Z3 Compact smartphone, which is expected to be unveiled at the event, have appeared online.

Published by Ausdroid, the images show the rear and sides of the phone, which sports subtle design changes from its predecessor – Xperia Z1 Compact. The specifications, on the other hand, won’t be very different.

As per Ausdroid.com’s source, Sony Xperia Z3 Compact will come 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 20.7MP rear camera, and 2600 mAh battery. The phone will reportedly sport a 4.6-inch 720p HD display, however previous rumours had pegged a 4.7-inch or 4.5-inch display size, so we have to wait until the official announcement to get a final word on the size.

To remind you, Sony will also be introducing the Xperia Z3, Z3 Tablet Compact and Xperia E3 devices at IFA alongside Z3 Compact.
