Xiaomi Redmi 1S sells out in a matter of seconds

Xiaomi launches and flash sales are now popular for selling out in a matter of seconds. Xiaomi is the king of Chinese sellouts, but we thought the Xiaomi Redmi 1S sale would last longer.

The Chinese manufacturer took 40,000 units to India, a number much higher than the usual. With a price of 5,999 INR (about $99), these units flew out in a matter of 4.2 seconds!

Opinion: How many units does a Xiaomi launch need in order for a device to last at least an hour in stock?! This is insane.
