How to turn off iCloud auto upload

• Turn your iOS device on.
• Open the Settings app.
• Tap on “iCloud”.
• From there, you can simply turn on/off which details you want to sync or not (Photos is at the bottom).

Now, if you want to completely get rid of iCloud, you can simply go to Settings > iCloud and find the “Delete Account” towards the bottom. Your data will no longer be backed up, but you can still back up via iTunes.
