Moto 360 with metal band available for pre-order from Verizon, will cost $300

After plenty of hype, anticipation and delay, the Moto 360 finally went on sale last week with the option of a gray or black leather band. To little surprise, the watch’s initial stock was sold out very shortly after its online arrival. For those that aren’t as impressed by a leather band, Verizon has confirmed the Moto 360 with a white steel or black steel band will ship November 11th for $299.99, with pre-orders starting immediately.

Aside from the ‘more premium’ band, this is the same Moto 360 as always. It’s a matter of opinion whether a metal band is worth the $50 premium over the leather-banded 360, but it’s important to note that buying the metal band alone will cost $80, in addition to the $250 already spent on the leather-banded Moto 360. Of course, you can always add your own 22mm 3rd party bands, though Motorola claims they might not look as good due to the watch’s rounded shape and aesthetics.

If you’re interested in pre-ordering the Moto 360 through Verizon’s retail store, you can do so here. What do you think, prefer the metal bands or perfectly fine with the leather straps?
