The Dell Latitude 13 7000 will arrive with Core M or Core M vPro processors from Intel, the new chipsets from Intel designed with 2-in-1 PCs in mind. Customers can configure up to 8GB of RAM, and a 512GB Intel SSD. At the moment, we don’t know the specific configuration for the $1199 model, but we’re assuming that it’s somewhere along the lines of 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of SSD storage.
At 1.67 kg in weight and a thickness of 20 mm (keyboard dock included), the Dell Latitude 13 7000 is not very heavy or thick, although it doesn’t really fall in the Ultrabook category. The tablet has a 30Wh battery, while the keyboard dock comes with an extra 20Wh battery, thus extending the battery life of the machine by 66 percent. The keyboard dock also comes with illuminated keys, which is always a nice thing to have on a business/office PC.
