Hopefully the electronically controlled rotating system won’t be there just to impress prospective customers. Possible applications on the Oppo N3 could include a mode that automatically rotates the camera to ensure the subject remains in the frame.
Other details that Oppo revealed about the upcoming N3 – besides the 1/2.3-inch 16MP sensor – are limited to the the usage of a Lithium-Alluminum alloy as a build material. Rumors claim that the Oppo N3 will arrive with a 5.9-inch QHD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, and 3GB of RAM, but don’t put any weight on these claims just yet.
What do you guys think of the Oppo N3’s electronically controlled rotating camera? Marketing feature or innovation? Don’t be shy to share your thoughts in the comment section below!
